Join our team and use your enthusiasm to give our guests the best experience.  What will you be doing?   As a Front Office employee, you enter the world of reception in the broadest sense of the word. You welcome new guests and take care of the check-in and check-out, you process reservations and all kinds of questions to which you of course know the answer. You know better than anyone how to give guests the very best 5* star service and you ensure that your name is included in the reviews. In short, you are the versatile and indispensable link that ensures top service in the hotel lobby.  Where will you be doing this?   In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you'll find one of the city's most iconic five-star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. • You have a positive and driven attitude.  

• With your smile, you can even make the guests who just arrived after a delay of 4 hours happy.  

• Experience in the hospitality industry would give us an extra reason to get excited, but is not mandatory.  

• You are skilled in Dutch and/or English. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!   

What do we offer you?   

• An uplifting position of 38 hours in the heart of Amsterdam.   

• A salary in accordance with the Hospitality collective labor agreement, 2505,04 EUR to 2606,25 EUR, based on a full-time contract of 38 hours and depending on your experience.    

• A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. We want you to stay with us!   

• After your first month, our ‘Know Where You Work' program treats you to a free overnight stay in one of our hotels!
