For our restaurant FUMI in Amstelveen, we are looking for two Independent Working Chefs (Zelfstandig Werkend Kok I). Position & Responsibilities

As an Independent Working Chef, you are responsible for independently carrying out kitchen tasks and actively contributing to the quality of our dishes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Independently preparing ingredients (mise en place)

• Applying fundamental cooking techniques

• Contributing ideas and input regarding menu composition, menu updates, and working methods

• Managing inventory and placing orders

• Professionally guiding and supervising kitchen assistants

• MBO level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent)

• Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques

• Independent, responsible, and able to perform well under pressure

• A team player with an eye for quality and hygiene

• Competitive salary: €2,750 – €3,250 gross per month (depending on experience and skills)
