Additionally, the Procurement Manager will be involved in other aspects such as sustainability and ethical issues, ensuring quality control and compliance with the PPHE policies and procedures.

As Procurement manager you:
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the business requirements while ensuring cost optimisation, quality standards, and sustainability principles.
- Collaborate with various departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration, to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, source products and services, and obtain competitive quotes. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best value.
- Raise purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Assist in the process of measuring and evaluating supplier performance to reduce cost, increase process efficiency, and business performance.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and ensure adherence to contracted terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment to suppliers.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Procure to Pay system (Adaco) in accordance with the E-Procurement process.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement in the procurement process
- Contribute to the development of the procurement function by engaging via proactive leadership of projects and initiatives. Take ownership for creating and owning PDP and career planning.
