Job description
Adagio Amsterdam City South is seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Assistant (f/m/d) to ensure that our hotel facilities are always in excellent condition for our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the building, technical installations, and guest areas, ensuring safety, functionality, and comfort at all times. You will support preventive maintenance activities, respond to repair requests efficiently, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and fire regulations.

• Always ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving technical issues
• Supporting repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
• Monitoring and maintaining technical systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
• Assisting external contractors when required
• Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislationYour training for the futureYou will receive hands-on training in hotel maintenance operations, including technical systems, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance planning. This role provides an excellent foundation for developing your technical skills within an international hospitality environment, with opportunities to grow into more specialized or supervisory maintenance roles.

• Basic technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance)
• Hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and situations

Job requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance, technical services, or a similar role is preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

Adagio Amsterdam City South is een splinternieuw hotel en heeft haar deuren 2 juni 2018 geopend. Dit hotel richt zich op de longstay markt. 
 
Met 151 studio's/appartementen gevestigd op 450 meter van het metro station ‘Kronenburg' in Amstelveen is het hotel gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de fiets, auto of natuurlijk het openbaar vervoer. Het hotel is ontworpen om onze gasten zich thuis te laten voelen vanaf het moment dat zij het hotel binnenstappen.
