• Lead and optimize the overall hotel operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Improve guest satisfaction and quality by consistently delivering exceptional service.
• Enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction, creating a positive and motivating work environment.
• Monitor cost and quality goals, ensuring the hotel operates within budget while maintaining high standards.
• Refine processes, service standards, and SOPs, ensuring continuous improvement across the hotel.
• Recruit, train, and motivate staff, helping them reach their full potential and fostering a strong team culture.
• Liaise with suppliers and manage purchasing and inventory to keep everything running smoothly.
• Act as the first point of contact in case of emergencies, ensuring the correct implementation of safety protocols and emergency plans.
• Manage cash flow, payment terminals, and POS systems, ensuring everything is accurate and secure.
• Oversee hotel software systems and handle technical issues as they arise to minimize disruptions.

Job requirements
What we're looking for:

• Enthusiasm and passion for hospitality – you love what you do, and it shows!
• A natural leader who can manage a team with ease and grace, even when things get hectic.
• A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment.
• A flair for multitasking, staying organized, and delivering outstanding service no matter what.
• Experience in hospitality (preferably in Front Office roles)
• A genuine smile and welcoming attitude – it's all about making guests feel right at home.
• Fluency in English (Dutch and German is a plus!).

What You Need:

         You've either completed a degree in tourism/hospitality or have enough experience in a similar role.

         You're cool with a flexible work schedule, which means weekdays and weekends. The early shift starts at 7:00 AM, and the late shift ends at 11:00 PM.

         You're fluent in at least English, both speaking and writing. Knowing a second or third language is a huge bonus.

         You've got some solid skills in Word and Excel.

Het Garner Hotel Maastricht ligt aan de rand van het historische centrum nabij de hoofd invalsweg van Maastricht en de doorgaande weg naar Luik.
