As a loading worker in Urk, you start your day early from a central meeting place in Urk or Lelystad and travel together to the Amsterdam harbour. Your day begins at 7:00 am, working in a lively company with various tasks that keep you active. Your main responsibility is to manually load and unload containers on trucks, often with boxes or sacks full of cocoa. This is what you will do:
As a loading worker in Urk, you start your day early from a central meeting place in Urk or Lelystad and travel together to the Amsterdam harbour. Your day begins at 7:00 am, working in a lively company with various tasks that keep you active. Your main responsibility is to manually load and unload containers on trucks, often with boxes or sacks full of cocoa. This is what you will do:
- Open sacks and load them onto trucks,
- Unload containers of bulk goods,
- Clean the workspace when needed and carry out various other tasks.
Job requirements
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work,
- Can communicate in English,
- Holder of a valid category B driver's license,
- You have your own place to live.

- Salary between €2,559 and €2,900 gross per month,
- Travel allowance up to €15 per day to the meeting point,
