Once occupied by “De Nederlandsche Bank”, our boutique hotel with 63 rooms, restaurant Stocks&Bonds (34 seats), a beautiful terrace (80 seats) overlooking Palace Noordeinde, our unique vault area with The Gold Bar (30 seats) and 2 meeting rooms/private dining borrows some of these unique elements in its décor. Each Hotel Indigo is unique, and delivers a vibrant, engaging and genuine boutique experience that gives guests a real flavour of the neighbourhood – delivering an experience that is truly reflective of the local culture, character and geography.

As F&B Supervisor (Full-time) you understand that hospitality is more than service — it is storytelling. In our boutique hotel, every guest experience is connected to the neighbourhood around us: its people, flavours, culture, history, and energy. The F&B Supervisor will lead our daily restaurant, terrace and bar operations while creating genuine, memorable moments that make guests feel connected to the local community. Job requirements
Guest Experience:

• Deliver warm, personal, and intuitive service that reflects the character of the neighbourhood and hotel;
• Encourage the team to share local stories, recommendations, and authentic connections with guests;
• Create an atmosphere where guests feel like locals rather than tourists;
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism, empathy, and confidence.

Leadership:

• Lead, coach, and motivate the F&B team during shifts;
• Set the tone for service standards, teamwork, and energy on the floor;
• Support onboarding and training of new team members;
• Foster a culture of curiosity, inclusiveness, and pride in the local community.

Operations:

• Supervise daily restaurant, bar, breakfast, lounge, or event operations during a morning (07:00-15:00) or evening shift (15:00-23:00;
• Ensure smooth service flow, cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with hygiene standards & Indigo brand standards;
• Coordinate closely with kitchen and front office;
• Assist with scheduling, inventory control, ordering, and stock management;
• Monitor quality, consistency, and efficiency throughout service periods.

Commercial:

• Support upselling initiatives through authentic recommendations and product knowledge;
• Contribute ideas for local collaborations, seasonal activations, and neighbourhood partnerships;
• Help drive guest satisfaction, repeat business, and positive reviews.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an F&B Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor, or senior service role in hospitality;
• Experience in boutique hotels, lifestyle hospitality, or independent restaurants is highly preferred;
• Strong understanding of food, beverage, and service operations;
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments;
• Fluent in Dutch and English;
• In possession of a Social Responsibility certificate (big plus);
• Good knowledge of HACCP standards.
