Job description
As a cook you will be responsible for preparing and serving uncomplicated meals, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen area, and occasionally assisting with drink preparation at the bar. This position is perfect for a multitasker who loves to cook but also thrives in a guest-oriented environment. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of simple dishes such as sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and snacks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist in preparing and serving drinks at the bar, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Provide excellent customer service at the bar, engaging with guests and fulfilling their requests
• Monitor inventory levels for both kitchen and bar supplies
• Minimize waste by using products efficiently and rotating stock
• Offer recommendations and answer questions about menu items and beverages
• Support colleagues in both kitchen and bar and reception areas as needed
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Interest in cooking
