Sales Executive (Part-Time, 3 Days a Week) Combine your passion for hospitality & sales as a Sales Executive at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our hotel services. We at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer, managed by Cycas Hospitality, have a dedicated team that get to be their true selves so that they can deliver positively OUTRAGEOUS service.   What will you do? Revenue:

• Seeking conference, corporate and group business ensuring full communication with the sales manager to convert into business.
• To conduct pro-active sales activities.
• To be fully aware of the physical product as well as additional sales opportunities to maximise revenue.
• To always understand the department's financial requirements.

People:

• Participate in hotel promotional activities.
• Ensure that you and all team members have a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained.

Guest Experience:

• Provide guests with information (e.g. loyalty programmes, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience.
• Interact with guests and build account profile.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts to produce group and/or convention business, to include room sales, food and beverage sales and catering/banqueting services.
• Assist with conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the Sales Office and prospective clients.

Responsible Business:

• Taking responsibility for the reactive side to sales within the hotel
• Work alongside the operational hotel teams to ensure client expectations are communicated and ultimately met.
• Identify new sales opportunities and identify new customers and attract them to the business with all the tools provided.
• Ensures that current and prospective client databases are maintained that files are kept current and accessible and that timely sales reports are submitted to the Director of Sales.
• Regularly follow up with clients and maintain accurate and updated information.
• Respond to client calls and special requests, ensuring that specific information is captured such as final details, dates, times, and hotel room requirements.
• Communication to appropriate departments all pertinent information requirements and special needs for arriving VIP's, large groups, and other key guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction on a regular basis, both pre-and post-event.

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Dutch and English is mandatory

Cycas Hospitality heeft een huurovereenkomst getekend met Van der Linde Architecten en Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij voor het beheer van IHG's eerste nieuwe Holiday Inn Express & Suites concept in Europa, dat in het vierde kwartaal van 2022 in Nederland geopend werd.
Hoewel het concept om een Holiday Inn Express hotel te combineren met extra merksuites de afgelopen tien jaar steeds populairder is geworden bij reizigers in Noord-Amerika en Azië, is dit de eerste ondertekening van IHG's uitgebreide Holiday Inn Express merkconcept in Europa.
Het 99-key Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer zal bestaan uit 83 standaard kamers plus 16 suites, het eerste aparthotel in de regio. Hoewel elke suite een kitchenette, woonruimte en apart slaapgedeelte heeft om tegemoet te komen aan reizigers die langer blijven, kunnen gasten toch profiteren van de ruimere faciliteiten van het hotel, waaronder het gratis Express StartTM ontbijt.
Met uitgebreide parkeergelegenheid, de locatie aan de rand van Deventer langs de A1, die Nederland met Duitsland verbindt, en de nabijheid van buslijn 6, met aansluitende treinverbindingen door heel Europa, is het hotel gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Dankzij deze geweldige vervoersverbindingen zijn Amsterdam en de Duitse grens elk minder dan een uur rijden, terwijl vijf internationale luchthavens allemaal binnen 90 minuten rijden te bereiken zijn.
Het nieuwe Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer ligt ook naast het bedrijventerrein De Weteringen, waar een mix van ingenieursbureaus, productiebedrijven en logistieke dienstverleners naar verwachting de vraag van bedrijven naar de mogelijkheden voor een verlengd verblijf zal stimuleren. Op het terrein bevinden zich ook een tankstation, een carpoolplaats en een restaurant.
