THE POSITION
Odyssey Hotel Group is seeking a highly motivated Reservations Agent to join our Reservations department. As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for handling all incoming reservation requests for our properties. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that our guests receive the best possible experience.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer phone calls and emails for new reservations and or enquiries.
• Process individual reservations through established procedures.
• Follow up on reservation related tasks as determined in the scope of the CRO.
• Drive upselling.
• Daily communication with operations teams.
• Ensure to deliver excellent customer services.
• Identify sales leads for the on-property sales teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Preferably experience in reservation sales and or hotel front office duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt style at all levels.
• Strong written / verbal presentation skills.
• Knowledge of accommodation industry and sales channel working.
• Previous experience in call centre / call team environment.
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken. Proficiency in Dutch or German is an advantage.
• Being familiar with the IHG or Marriott Reservation sales systems and infrastructure is an advantage; including Opera PMS.
• Relevant computer skills such as MS Office etc.
