The logistics department ensures the efficient and effective flow of goods, services, and information within the supply chain to meet customer demand, while minimizing costs and maximizing value.

For our client in Vlaardingen, we are looking for a full-time (40 hours) warehouse employee for at least 6 months, with the possibility of a permanent contract with our client. In this role, you will work Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position offers a varied and extensive range of responsibilities.

Your duties will include, for example:

• Loading/unloading of vehicles
• Receiving products during incoming goods process
• Incoming and outgoing quality control
• Storing inventory in designated locations
• Collecting and packing sales, service, and transfer orders
• General order and cleanliness (5S method)
• Process improvement
• Using the company’s ERP system
• Mercury measurement (only by certain specialists)
• Contact with external drivers and contractors
• Contact with sales order coordinators/service coordinators for questions about the pick list
• Contact with shipping for questions about shipping documents
• Contact with the quality assurance department for questions about safety or quality

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Able to communicate easily in both Dutch and Englis
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one
• Knowledge of the BaaN ERP system is a plus
• Competencies: Result-oriented, takes initiative, self-motivated, team player, eye for detail

Part of the procedure is that a Certificate of Good Conduct (VGB) be requested

• A salary between €2440 and €2700 based on 40 hours
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer
