Are you seeking a role where you can truly impact operations? If so, read on! We're in search of an Order Management Specialist for our client based in Bleiswijk.


As an Order Management Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the administrative aspects of outbound order flow at the European Distribution Center (EDC). Acting as the primary liaison between Distribution Operations, Customer Care, and Transportation, your main goal will be to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders across the EMEA region, while also accommodating special customer requests and adhering to country-specific requirements for export documentation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shipment schedules and arrange transportation from the Distribution Center to the end customer, ensuring all shipping tasks are completed for on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with picking and packing teams to prioritize daily tasks effectively.
  • Prepare all necessary shipping documents for outbound orders outside the European Union, including invoices, Certificates of Origin, ATR1, EXA, etc.
  • Monitor orders for high-profile customers, following up until final delivery is achieved.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing any complaints related to distribution and escalating issues as needed.
  • Work in tandem with Customer Care departments and Forwarders to meet logistics expectations.
  • Compile and analyze daily, monthly, and quarterly reports and metrics.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects and activities to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of administrative records.

The company we're working with is a biomedical firm based in the United States, with its European distribution center situated in Bleiswijk.


Wat vragen wij?

  • Minimum education level required: MBO or HBO with a background in administration and/or logistics;
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Access, Excel, Word;
  • Preference for experience in customer service support;
  • Preferred knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and WMS systems; familiarity with Oracle Database (E1) is advantageous.

  • A salary between 2400 en €2600 per month;
  • A dynamic job where you will learn allot about the process;
  • Travel allowance for both car and public transport;
  • A temporary contract until the end of the year (extension possible).
