366 guests divided over 3 restaurants, 52 room service orders and over 450 dishes leaving the kitchen. That is what our ‘food calculator' registered on the busiest day this year, and with the growth of travelers at Schiphol Airport we expect those numbers to keep on growing. To keep the service standards high and treat every guest as ‘King or Queen of the hotel' we keep on developing our kitchen team. That is why we are looking for a new Demi Chef de Partie.  About Sheraton AmsterdamAt Sheraton we are constantly watching, listening, tasting and adapting to the needs of our current guests and to attract a next generation of travelers. The hotel is only a short 2-minutes' walk away from the airport's terminals and 15 minutes away from Amsterdam city center. The Sheraton hotel at Schiphol exists almost 25 years and underwent a major renovation in 2021 of all the 417 rooms and public spaces. What will you do as Demi Chef de PartieTasting one of your dishes is like attending the party of the year. The love and passion you put into your dishes is so delightful that all products on the plate show themselves from their best side. As Demi Chef de Partie you are going to work together with the kitchen team of our grill restaurant Stripes, The Gate Bar and the new veg-forward restaurant Commune. Our goal is that our guests for a moment forget that they are situated in the center of the Schiphol Airport hustle by serving them great city-minded food. As Demi Chef de Partie you know exactly how to fine-tune these dishes and you do this on a daily basis: you never settle for anything less than the best! In addition, you assist the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine in the Kitchen. You assist with the Mise en Place, dress the plates and keep an eye on the hygiene in the kitchen.

• Experience is preferred, not required: we hire for attitude and train for skill.
• ‘Teamwork makes the dream work' – we are looking for a Demi Chef De Partie that is ready to be a team player.
• Your smile is important to us and to our guests.
• You are flexible in working hours and days: morning-, evening- and weekend shifts are part of your job.
• You have a permit to work in the European Union / The Netherlands.
• You speak English and/or Dutch.
