Location: Holiday Inn the niu Fender Hotel, Amsterdam
Are you ready to rock the Front Office at the hip and happening Holiday Inn the niu Fender in Amsterdam? We're on the hunt for a friendly, enthusiastic, and go-getter colleague to join our awesome team. If you're all about creating memorable experiences, then this is the gig for you.
Your mission? To be the face of our hotel, both in person and on the phone. You'll welcome guests with a smile, answer their questions, and make sure they feel right at home. As a Front Office Rockstar, you'll be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ready to assist with any questions or requests that come your way.
Here's what you'll be jamming on:

• Checking in and out our fabulous (and international) guests. 
• Providing information about our hotel facilities, tech gadgets, and local hotspots.
• Keeping the admin stuff in check.
• Taking the stage with room reservations and checking existing bookings.
• Making sure our guests' wishes come true
• Joining the crew for shift briefings and department pow-wows.

Job requirements

What You Need:

• You've either completed a degree in tourism/hospitality or have some experience in a similar role.
• You're cool with a flexible work schedule, which means weekdays and weekends. The early shift starts at 7:00 AM, and the late shift ends at 11:00 PM.
• You're fluent in English, both speaking and writing. Dutch is a plus, knowing a third language is ridiculous :)
• You've got some solid skills in Word and Excel.

Organisation
In de Entrepothaven bij Cruquiuseiland opent het hotel eind oktober 2019 haar deuren. Het hotel richt zich op de millennial en vindt aansluiting bij de levensstijl van de hedendaagse samenleving. De drie torens die een prachtig uitzicht hebben op het water geven de maritieme sfeer van het hotel perfect weer. De 245 kamers bieden een ideale plek voor zowel business als leisure hotelgasten. Met de gunstige ligging ten opzichte van Schiphol en gemakkelijke bereikbaarheid vanaf Amsterdam CS is niu Fender een goede uitvalbasis voor zowel gasten uit binnen- en buitenland. Naast plek voor 200 boten in de haven is er door de grote parkeergarage voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het hotel past in het viersterren genre.
