Our client is a dynamic company specializing in the AGF sector. They are a European importer focused on mangoes and avocados. The work atmosphere is informal with short communication lines. Their expertise lies in receiving, ripening, packaging, and dispatching mangoes and avocados.

As an operator, your main responsibility is to oversee the packaging of mangoes and avocados according to customer specifications. Subsequently, these yields are dispatched to supermarkets. Within this role, you will operate machinery and also supervise production staff working alongside you on the line.

• Set up and adjust the net clipper or flowpack machines (performing light technical tasks).
• Supervise production workers.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the production line.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Perform additional production tasks and maintain line cleanliness.

This is a full-time day shift position starting at 6:45 AM, concluding around 4:00 PM, with the possibility of extending hours for which you will receive a 135% overtime bonus after 38 hours worked per week. Weekends are off. However, it's important to note that the work environment is cold, with a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius, and you will be provided with appropriate warm clothing.

• Experience as an operator in an AGF environment, preferably with experience in using a net clipper or flowpack machine.
• Good command of the Dutch or English language.
• Leadership qualities.
• Full-time availability, preference for a permanent position.
• Own transportation is essential.
• Living near the Rotterdam, The Hague, Zoetermeer, Bleiswijk area.
