Vertiq Hospitality Partners is evolving from a hotel management company to an operating partner with a clear Vision: to be the trusted operating partner in European hospitality investments. As a Sales & Reservations Intern, you will become part of our small but mighty commercial team. You will support the reservations process, assist the Sales Manager with daily tasks, and help ensure our guests, clients, and partners enjoy seamless experience; from their first email or call all the way to check-out. What you will do during this internship: Sales

• Assist the Sales Manager with day-to-day sales tasks
• Join sales conversations and activities in the hotel, as well as client visits and company meetings
• Participate in fairs, trade shows, and other sales-related events

Reservations

• Assist with processing individual and group reservations via phone, email, and online platforms (including Marriott systems)
• Support the Reservations & Events team in planning and organizing meetings, events, and group stays
• Communicate with Accounts, guests and clients to confirm details and special requests
• Prepare event orders, rooming lists, and billing instructions
• Ensure accurate data entry in systems like Opera and MARSHA
• Coordinate with departments such as Front Office and Food & Beverage to deliver exceptional service
• Participate in internal meetings and contribute your ideas to improve the guest journey

Who are you?

• Strong communication skills written & verbal in English, Dutch is a plus
• Service-minded, detail-oriented, and organized
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with Opera or MARSHA is a plus
• Positive energy and a hands-on attitude. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and always looking for opportunities to improve
• Representative and confident when interacting with guests, clients, and partners

• Internship Allowance of €650 per month (based on a full-time, 38 hours a week, internship). This amount is including travel allowance and other expenses)

The Moxy and Residence Inn Houthavens is the first dual branded property in The Netherlands; 2 hotels operating in 1 building!
