Via Actief Werkt! you will get to work at Royal FloraHolland in Aalsmeer, the world's biggest flower auction, which has been the bridge between growers and buyers of flowers for more than 100 years. 

As a logistics employee at Royal FloraHolland, you will start your working day at 05:45 with a cup of coffee in the canteen. At 06:00 the working day starts with a day start, where they inform you about the daily particulars, the number of carts with flowers and plants and the expected end time. After the day start, you put on your headset, get on your electric cart and start transporting flowers and plants to the right locations. Here, accuracy and safety are key. Your working day usually ends between 10:00 and 13:00, depending on how busy it is. This gives you the freedom to fill in the rest of the day as you wish, making the job ideal for combining with other activities such as studies, family life or sports.

What you need to know:

• You always start your working day at 06:00 and your ending time depends on how much flowers are sold but is most of the time between 10:00 and 12:00.

• With a working week of 5 days you will work around 20-25 hours. 

• Before you start there are 2 paid training days. Here you will learn everything regarding the work, safety rules and you will train driving on the electric cart.

✅ You are at least 18 years old

✅ You speak and understand Dutch and/or English well 

✅ You are at least 1.65 m tall (safety first!)

✅ You are available for at least 2 days

✅ A starting salary of €16.04 bruto per hour or an all-in salary of €17.73 bruto per hour 

✅ Travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometre from 5 km one way 

✅ Full reimbursement of your public transport pass for more than 4 working days per week 

✅ Possibility of takeover by the client with a permanent job 

✅ Weekly payment
