You support the daily operations of the Meetings & Events department, coordinating setups, guiding the team on the floor and ensuring every detail meets our high standards. Working closely with the Events and Beverage & Food teams, you help create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining smooth and efficient service throughout each event.Your key responsibilities include: Support the Meetings & Events management in coordinating and delivering meetings, conferences and events that align with client expectations and hotel standards. Assist in preparing event timelines, checklists and setups to ensure smooth and efficient operations from start to finish. Maintain close communication with clients and external partners to ensure all event requirements are met. Act as the link between clients, service staff and kitchen teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination during each stage of the event. Supervise event setups and breakdowns, providing on-site support to guarantee flawless execution and guest satisfaction. Respond quickly to any challenges during events, helping to resolve issues professionally and efficiently. Ensure all safety and quality standards are consistently followed throughout event operations. Support the team with post-event follow-up, helping to gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve future events. Collaborate with the wider Meetings & Events and Food & Beverage teams to ensure every event reflects the hotel's brand standards and service excellence.To be eligible for this position you…

- Background in hospitality, ideally within Food & Beverage
- Some prior team management experience
- Have good communication skills in English, Dutch is always a plus.
- Use your initiative and be proactive rather than reactive
- Eager and ready to learn and develop your skills in Meetings & Events department.
- Understand customer needs and consistently aim for high standards of performance
- Inspire and guide your team toward shared goals, fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.
- Have a hospitable personality with a "can do" attitude.
