Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a vibrant and colourful hotel with an integrated Congress Center, offering 476 rooms and 21 meeting rooms, including a spacious ballroom with capacity for up to 700 guests in theatre style, as well as a unique rooftop event space. Conveniently located next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, the hotel is easily accessible by both public transport and car. Designed by the renowned designer Karim Rashid, the hotel is part of the iconic VEN complex, sharing the building with Holland Casino, LimeHome apartments, World of Karaoke and Restaurant Azura. About the role In this role, the transactional accounting activities are outsourced to an external accounting partner. This means your focus is not on booking invoices, but on controlling, reviewing and coordinating, ensuring that financial data is complete, accurate and processed correctly. As Assistant Business Controller, you support the Business Controller and hotel management by overseeing financial processes, analysing results, safeguarding compliance and translating numbers into insights that help the hotel move forward. Your responsibilities include:

• Support monthly closing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting;
• Review monthly results and assist in preparing hotel performance reports;
• Oversee financial data including and processes including AP in collaboration; with the outsourced accounting partner;
• Assist with basic balance sheet reconciliations;
• Monitor KPIs, key ratios and CapEx investments;
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local legislation;
• Support risk management, audits and insurance compliance;
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.

Job requirements
Essential Ingredients:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management or a related field;
• You bring 1–2 years of experience in a financial role and have a basic understanding of accounting standards;
• You are independent, proactive and a quick learner, with a self-explorative mindset;
• You enjoy analysing data and solving discrepancies until everything adds up;
• You are comfortable collaborating with both internal stakeholders and external service providers;
• You enjoy collaborating with others, and thrive in a social, team-oriented environment;
• Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus;
• You communicate clearly and professionally in English (Dutch is a plus).

Het restaurant, de bar en lounge liggen rondom het zonnige Piazza, middenin het hart van het complex.Het hotel beslaat 28.000 m², inclusief de 2.500 m² Meeting & Events Academy met 19 flexibele vergaderzalen en netwerkruimtes.
