Vertiq Hospitality Partners is evolving from a hotel management company to an operating partner with a clear Vision: to be the trusted operating partner in European hospitality investments.     Kom werken bij Moxy en Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, onderdeel van Marriott Hotels & Resorts, als Maintenance Stagiair met een hands-on rol die ervoor zorgt dat een hotel achter de schermen soepel blijft draaien! Als Maintenance Stagiair help je het maintenance team om het hotel in goede staat te houden. Deze rol omvat het leren en assisteren bij reparaties, inspecties en algemeen onderhoud van het onroerend goed. Wat wij jou bieden!

Wat ga je doen tijdens deze stage: Algemene reparaties:

• Help bij het oplossen van kleine problemen zoals kapotte lampen, lekkende kranen of verstopte afvoeren.
• Meld grote problemen aan het senior personeel.

Routinematige controles:

• Inspecteer apparatuur en bouwsystemen om kleine problemen op te sporen en op te lossen voordat ze groter worden.
• Assisteren bij taken zoals het repareren van machines of het testen van veiligheidssystemen.

Ondersteuning voor gasten:

• Reageer op klachten van gasten over zaken als defecte airconditioners of kapotte armaturen.
• Zorg ervoor dat reparaties snel en correct worden uitgevoerd.

Veiligheid:

• Zorg ervoor dat het hotel voldoet aan de veiligheidsregels en -richtlijnen.
• Wees klaar om te helpen in noodgevallen zoals stroomuitval of lekkages.

Hulpmiddelen en records:

• Houd bij welke gereedschappen en benodigdheden voor onderhoud worden gebruikt.
• Help bij het bijhouden van gegevens over voltooide reparaties en inspecties.

Teamwerk:

• Werk samen met andere hotelafdelingen (bijv. huishouding, frontoffice) om onderhoudsproblemen op te lossen.
• Ondersteun senior maintenance personeel bij hun taken.

Wie ben je?

• Basis Engels is een must, Nederlands is een pre
• Basiskennis van reparatiewerkzaamheden (bijv. loodgieterswerk, elektriciteit of timmerwerk).
• Probleemoplossend vermogen en aandacht voor detail.
• Het vermogen om goed alleen of in een team te werken.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
• Fysiek vermogen om handmatig werk te doen en gedurende lange perioden te staan.
• Je bent flexibel en in staat om verschillende diensten te draaien, ook in het weekend en op feestdagen

As a Maintenance Intern you will help the maintenance team keep the hotel in good working order. This role involves learning and assisting with repairs, inspections, and general upkeep of the property. What we offer you!

What you will do during this internship: General Repairs:

• Help fix minor issues like broken lights, leaking taps, or clogged drains.
• Report major problems to the senior staff.

Routine Checks:

• Inspect equipment and building systems to find and fix small problems before they become bigger.
• Assist with tasks like fixing machines or testing safety systems.

Guest Support:

• Respond to guest complaints about things like faulty air conditioners or broken fixtures.
• Ensure repairs are done quickly and properly.

Safety:

• Help ensure the hotel meets safety rules and guidelines.
• Be ready to assist in emergencies like power outages or leaks.

Tools and Records:

• Keep track of tools and supplies used for maintenance.
• Help maintain records of completed repairs and inspections.

Teamwork:

• Work with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, front office) to solve maintenance issues.
• Support senior maintenance staff with their tasks.

Who are you?

• Basic English is a must, Dutch is a plus
• Basic knowledge of repair work (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or carpentry).
• Problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well alone or in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to do manual work and stand for long periods.
• You are flexible and able to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
